The Pink Swan Project is organized by SUITE New York, a mid-century modern and contemporary furniture showroom in New York City. Nineteen leading interior designers, architects and fashion icons will customize Arne Jacobsen’s iconic 1958 Swan Chair in homage to BCRF. These were originally designed for the lobby of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
The one of a kind Swan Chairs will be auctioned on Charitybuzz.com from October 1st – October 31st, 2011, with 80% of each sale directly benefiting BCRF.
Beginning 1st October, a weekly rotation of the decorated Swan Chairs will be on display in the Gagosian Shop at 988 Madison Avenue, New York. To learn more about SUITE New York and The Pink Swan Project, visit Suite New York.
