The evening will start with a Patron Party for major sponsors and participants willing to pay more for the evening. Specialty Variar, champagne and a local high school string quartet will serenade the special guests, who will be honored with a special lapel pin to recognize their contributions.
The Patron Party is from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at a local bed & breakfast in the 2nd oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. Patrons will then ride the ferry across the Mississippi River, where they will 'Second Line' to The Hard Rock Cafe where the actual event will be held.
The BreastFest 2011 will be from 7:00pm until 12:00am. There will be music, food from local chefs, specialty drinks and incredible silent auction items. There will also be 3 or 4 Booby Traps set up throughout the venue for people to donate directly to BCRF, buy specially designed event shirts, buy other specialty event-themed items, and, if a survivor of breast cancer, they will receive a special gift to recognize and honor them.
