The Jill Rose Award for outstanding research excellence will honor Mina J. Bissell, PhD,
Distinguished Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, in recognition of her pioneering work on the relationship between cancer genetics and the three-dimensional structure of cells and tissues. Dr. Bissell's discoveries have had tremendous impact on our understanding of how cells proliferate, differentiate and become cancerous.

The Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award will be presented to Richard Anderson, CEO of Delta Air Lines, by Kenneth Chenault, Chairman and CEO of American Express, for Anderson's commitment to raising awareness of breast cancer around the globe and lifesaving funds for research around the globe.
