The Jill Rose Award for outstanding research excellence will honor
Titia de Lange, PhD, for her contributions to the research on telomeres
(the protective ends of chromosome) and their relationship to aging and cancer.
Dr. de Lange's pacesetting work at The Rockefeller University continues to illuminate our knowledge of cancer as a disease of aging.

The Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award will be presented to Gail Siegal, in recognition of all she and her late husband, Richard, have accomplished in leading efforts to support lifesaving research and raise awareness of breast cancer.
