BCRF dedicated $45 million to breast cancer research at its Symposium and Awards Luncheon on Oct. 15, 2013. The grants, awarded to 207 scientists, build on BCRF’s efforts to advance promising research. The Symposium was dedicated to the late Cynthia Lufkin and Mickie Siebert. During the Luncheon, Gail Siegal was named the Sandra Taub Humanitarian Awardee, while BCRF researcher, Dr. Titia de Lange, received the Jill Rose Award for outstanding research excellence.
